Great customer service and an array of the latest
acid-free products on the market have made Magic Moments Scrapbooks the
award-winning store that it is. Proudly Brisbane's first dedicated scrapbooking
store, Magic Moments took its place in its Bloomfield premises in January
2001.
Within 10 months of establishing the business, Shelagh and the team
received the People's Choice Award in the Redland Business Achievement
Awards. This was an astounding achievement considering that Magic Moments
Scrapbooks was competing against 6000 registered businesses! So you
can imagine the thrill when in November 2002, they won Retailer of
the Year!
There are numerous factors that lead to these accolades - the first
being superior service., The team at Magic Moments simply do not feel
comfortable if a customer leaves the store with a new tool that they
are not entirely confident in applying to their craft. Personal attention
to customers is an aspect of this business that has led to many customers
becoming special friends of the store.
There are many classes to choose from at Magic Moments Scrapbooks,
for scrappers at any level of expertise. Beginners will excel to new
heights in no time thanks to the small, intimate class sizes and hands-on
approach of the Magic Moment Scrapbooks instructors. Customers interested
in card making can also attend the special class dedicated to this
paper craft, and dedicated scrapbookers will thrive on the all-day
crops, midnight crops, specialist classes including heritage.
Shelagh launched her career in scrapbooking purely out of passion
- how else was she supposed to constantly surround herself with all
the goodies on the market! However, with the success of Magic Moments
Scrapbooks she finds it difficult to create to for her own scrapbooking
projects, so she has dedicated her time by inspiring others.
"I have put together a paper piecing book using the Shape Cutter,
which was launched at the Brisbane Paper Arts Festival last year," Shelagh
Says. "This book has been very well received by the entire scrapbooking
community, and there's a second one on the way."
Magic Moments Scrapbooks is in the hub of craft mania every Sunday,
when Bloomfield Street in Cleveland, Queensland, is closed to traffic
for the Cleveland Craft Markets. People travelling from far and wide
sample the goodies at the market, and then make their way to Magic
Moments Scrapbooks to get a taste of the world's hottest craft at the
moment. Many of them have had a taste, but they're just hungry for
more!
So why not whet your appetite for scrapbooking and make your way to
Magic Moments Scrapbooks in Cleveland, Queensland - you'll be making
magic with your memories in no time!
